Corfu Flotilla

 

 Day 1 (Saturday) : Corfu

You join your flotilla at Gouvia marina, just a 15 minute drive from Corfu airport. This modern marina is a great starting point for your holiday and after settling in on your yacht there’s time for a stroll around the shops and a relaxing dinner.

 Day 2 (Sunday) : Plataria (23nm)

Enjoy a relaxed first day’s sail south to the mainland village of Plataria. This quiet village remains widely unknown to tourists and is a perfect spot to enjoy dinner in a waterfront taverna whilst getting to know your fellow flotilla crews.

 Day 3 (Monday) : Parga (20nm)

The beautiful town of Parga offers great beaches and clear blue waters set within a picturesque bay. Colourful houses line the hillside and the ruined walls of the Venetian castle can be seen sitting high above the town.

Day 4 (Tuesday) : Gaios, Paxos (13nm)

Today’s sail takes us past the world famous emerald bay of Antipaxos and on to the sophisticated main town of Paxos, Gaios. Gaios’ narrow lanes are filled with shops and tavernas which make for a fabulous evening.

 Day 5 (Wednesday) : Lakka, Paxos (11nm)

Lakka is a true Ionian gem, a beautiful little village which often becomes our clients’ favourite spot.

 Day 6 (Thursday) : Sivota, Mourtos (12nm)

Sailing back across to the mainland we visit the revamped little town of Sivota in the magnificent bay of Mourtos. Soak up the atmosphere whilst watching the beautiful Greek sunset.

 Day 7 (Friday) : Corfu (19nm)

Before returning to Gouvia Marina, a lunch stop at Corfu’s spectacular old Citadel is the perfect way to end the holiday.

 Day 8 (Saturday) : Corfu

Disembark at Gouvia marina, say good bye to your fellow sailors and head back to the airport.

South Flotilla - Sivota Route

Week 1, 2019 dates: 28 Apr | 12, 26 May | 9, 23 Jun | 7, 21 Jul | 4, 18 Aug | 1, 15, 29 Sep

 Day 1 (Sunday) : Palairos

You join your flotilla in our beautifully located Palairos base, just a short drive from Preveza airport. The superb setting, with views across to Meganisi and Scorpio, the island owned by the Onassis family, will soon put you in the holiday mood! After settling in on your yacht there’s time for a stroll around the shops and a relaxing dinner.

 Day 2 (Monday) : Sivota, Lefkas (14nm)

Enjoy a sail across to Sivota on the East coast of Lefkas. This is an unspoiled fishing village which has managed to keep its Greek character through all the years despite the growth of tourism. Here you’re spoiled for choice as there is a variety of shops, cafes and tavernas.

 Day 3 (Tuesday) : Polis, Ithaka (12nm)

Across the channel to the picturesque fishing port Polis on Ithaca. The bay has a beautiful pebbly beach with clear, turquoise waters, and you can take a walk up to the archaeological site of Loizos Cave on the north side, which used to be a worship place during ancient times.

 Day 4 (Wednesday) : Agia Eufimia, Kefalonia (10nm)

Prior to the 1953 earthquake, Eufimia was the main ferry port on Kefalonia. Now it remains one of the most picturesque seaside villages on the island with all the necessary facilities. Enjoy fantastic views from above the town, a good selection of tavernas and a trip to the nearby Melissani Lake Cave is definitely worthwhile.

 Day 5 (Thursday) : Vasiliki, Lefkas (19nm)

Sailing north back to Lefkas we head to the windsurfing hub of Vasiliki. A bustling village with great tavernas right on the water’s edge.

 Day 6 (Friday) : Little Vathi, Meganisi (14nm)

Vathi is a tiny port on the northeast coast of Meganisi. In a sheltered position at the end of an inlet, it has a few waterfront tavernas. Settle down to a cold beer and plate of mezes by the quayside and watch the ferry and fishing boats come and go.

 Day 7 (Saturday) : Palairos (7nm)

Rather than head straight back to base you can return to one of the many anchorages on Meganisi, perhaps Abelike Bay, for a last lunch stop and swim before returning to Palairos.

 Day 8 (Sunday) : Palairos

Disembark at Palairos say goodbye to your fellow sailors and head back to the airport.

South Flotilla - Fiskardo Route

Week 2, 2019 dates: 5, 19 May | 2, 16, 30 Jun | 14, 28 Jul | 11, 25 Aug | 8, 22 Sep | 6 Oct

 

 Day 1 (Sunday) : Palairos

 Day 2 (Monday) : Spartochori, Meganisi (7nm)

Those who wish may stop over at one of the beautiful bays on Meganisi for a midday swim. Spartochori is a great setting for an evening watching the amazing sunset over the top of the village.

 Day 3 (Tuesday) : Fiskardo, Kefalonia (16nm)

We cross the channel over to Fiskardo on Kefalonia. This beautiful old fishing harbour is considered the pearl of the Ionian Islands. You’ll find a wide choice of stylish and sophisticated shops, cafes and a variety of tavernas and restaurants.

 Day 4 (Wednesday) : Sami, Kefalonia (13nm)

A charming seaside village on the East coast of Kefalonia set amongst rolling hills and fragrant pine trees. Be sure to visit the ancient acropolis and the nearby Melissani Lake Cave.

 Day 5 (Thursday) : Kioni, Ithaca (16nm)

Kioni village is an exceptional beauty set amidst a setting of olive groves. The lovely houses form an amphitheatre around the steep slopes of the bay with its amazing deep blue waters. After an enjoyable sail, relax whilst moored to the jetty, only a few steps away from the tavern.

 Day 6 (Friday) : Kalamos (15nm)

Enjoy a sail north to the island of Kalamos. Port Kalamos is a sleepy little harbour with a few restaurants and shops on the quayside for visiting yachts. Take a walk up to the old town for views and a visit to the bakery.

 Day 7 (Saturday) : Palairos (12nm)
